Forwarded Meeting Notice Creates Replication Conflict

In my mail Preferences I have a dedicated person to handle my calendar. She can Read, create, edit and delete any Calendar Entry, To Do or Contact. Calendar notices are automatically forwarded to this person when I am either a meeting participant or chair.

When she clicks on the link and opens my calendar entry to accept it, she gets an error that someone has edited this document. It creates a replication conflict. Invitation gets removed from my inbox and it DOES NOT appear on my schedule. I can see it in the All Documents view. If I or she opens this meeting again and clicks Accept I get it on my calendar but because we have BES and Blackberies I get duplicates and sometimes triplicates.

It is easy to reproduce.

Have anyone seen anything like it? Any tips how to fix it?

Subject: $RIMCSTrack

Check the document properties for the $RIMCSTrack field. If it’s there it may give you an idea of whether or not the BES server is modifying the fields.

Also, if you make modifications to your calendar from your Blackberry, you may want to reconsider this practice. All calendar activities should be performed from a Notes client. Your Blackberry should only be used to view your calendar.

Subject: No $

The item is just RIMCSTrack.

Yes, there are known issues with a Blackberry causing some problems in the Calendar, primarily with repeating entries.

If you have this problem or think you do, contact Technical Support and they may be able to help undo some of the damage.

You should also upgrade your BES servers to the latest version to get the benefit of our working with RIM to resolve identified Calendar issues.
