Hello,When I try to forward a message with an attachment, the attachment is replace by a picture.

Hello,we had the same problem today. We closed the notes client, then we deleted the file cache.ndk in the data folder. After that the problem was gone.

I’ve researched (thanks to the R6 forum) that attached files are not forwarded (just an icon) when the user’s Temp folder has a Notes directory that contains a file called “~editclp.ncf” prior to the Notes client being started. Deleting this file and starting the Notes client allows things to work normally. This is in XP.
What I have discovered is that the file normally gets deleted after the Notes client shuts down but if the client is restarted immediately the delete process isn’t able to complete before the client starts and prevents the deletion. This leaves the old file in place and this seems to be the cause of only the file attachment icon (and not the actual attachment) being included in forwarded e-mails.
By the way…if the problem exhibits itself, the user can close the Notes client, wait 15-20 seconds and then restart Notes…and the file will have been removed and forwarding will proceed normally.
I can see the deletion delay just by observing the file in
Windows.
Try 6.5.4 or 7.0.2

Anyone have any information on this if it is occurring in DWA? DWA will use a different file then ~editclp.ncf i believe?
