I need to route SMTP mail to MS Echange server from our Domino server. I know that I have to create a Foreign SMTP Domain document, but I am confuse why do I need to creat an SMTP Connection Document.
Our Domino server will send email directly to a secure IP address where VPN Tunnel has been establish between the two server.
Is there a different way to do this?

You don’t need a Foreign SMTP Domain document, just a Foreign Domain doc.

They do if you’re using a Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes.

How about setting up internet forwarding mail addresses for the domino accounts?
