Fonts needed for Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS

The installation of Notes 8.5 beta1 on Ubuntu 8.04.1 was easy and without problems. Only some fonts were missing. I installed ttf-xfree86-nonfreee and ttf-xfree86-nonfree-syriac. After that I had san serif fonts for the mails and most of the menues.What still looks ugly are bold headlines like “Getting Started” or “Inbox (3)”. They are shown this way: “[G’ActivitiesÍı|]”. Which font is missing?

…same happened to my installation on a German Ubuntu 8.04, but the issue vanished after reinstall under English language/locales.

Hi,

Please install English build under English language/locale but NLV build under corresponding NL/locale. There is an existing related SPR(not a bug) XPXO7EZNYG: Gabage characters in the install UI( msi).
