Fonts Do not Change when Creating New Memo

Hi,

I have yet another issue. Even though under the default fonts settings, I have everything set to Arial, but when I attempt to create a new memo or when replying to mails, It always has it set to Times Roman…

How can I resolve this?

I have changed this by opening my mailbox in designer

and then change the lettertype and size in the rt-field: body.

This for memo, reply, reply with history.

I personally changed to tahoma 9, nice to see in LN email, but can come out small in some web-mail clients.

Hi.I assume you have changed the settings from File → Preferences-> User preferences

When you change the font from here, it only changes the display of the font in your inbox and display but will not actually change the font to Arial.

You can try this out. First change everything to arial in the default fonts. Open one of the mails in your inbox and take the print screen of it.

Now click on File Preferences User preferences and click on default fonts and then on the default button. This would restore it to the original font.

And now open the same mail and take a print screen. Compare both the screenshots. You will see that one shows Arial and the other as Default Sans Serif.

Also remember to close and open lotus notes whenever you change the font for the settings to take effect.
