The 6.5 Mail Design does not allow for Follow-up flags to be added to Calendar Invitations. When I try, I get a messagebox “One or more messages are not mail messages and cannot be flagged for Follow Up.” Huh?
Does anybody know why this functionality was left out?

If I remember correctly, it was decided not to support Follow Up on any calendar entry because they already had the ability to set alarms and also because editing calendar entries could often interfere with workflow (in one example, it would send an update to invitees).
