Hello,we have recently updated our Domino Server from 5 to 6.5.1 and all Clients from 4.6 to 6.5.1. All clients use now the mail template from Version 6.5.1.
One user is complaining that sometimes the folder are deleted automatically and/or are removed into the root directory.
We have re-created all folders already, to make sure that all folders use the 6.5.1 template - but the problem still appears.
Does anyone have any idea what this can be?

What do you mean “… folders are removed into the root directory”? Notes mail folders do not exist in the OS so I’m not sure what root directory you are referring to. Do you mean the messages are getting dumped back into the Inbox?
The first thing I would check is to make sure a template is set for the mail database. Then check the folder properties and make sure “prohibit replace on design refresh” is checked.

Hi, with “folder are removed into the root directory” i mean that a subfolder is moved into the root of the section folders. In the mailbox you have a section called “Folders” where you can add your own folders with subfolder to organize the mails. And sometimes the subfolders are moved into the root and/or even worth are deleted automatically. The mails are not dumped back into the Inbox. You can find them under “all documents”.I also checked the folder properties and the settings is set to “prohibit replace on design refresh” as this was my first thought too.
