First message in a new chat is blank for sender

Hi.

It's a rather weird question, but a customer has reported the following:

. The first message sent when opening a new chat is received by the recipient, but the sender does not see it in his/her interface.

. Following messages are received and viewed by both parties without issues.

Customer's environment is ST12.0.1FP1 and they are using the ST client embedded in Notes 12.0.1 / 12.0.2.

Anyone has experienced this before?

Hi Rafael -

Yes, there are some known scenarios that can cause what you describe - we have them corrected in the latest 12.02 Notes fixpacks - I believe it is FP3.

SAME-49425 - Initial chat message is not seen when no chat history exists

Like what Tony said, it seems this is a known issue and we already have fix for ti. You can refer below documentation:
