We are going to have an SMTP relay server running Domino in our DMZ and then our main mail servers inside on our regular LAN. Could someone please tell me what ports I need to have open in the firewall for this setup to work properly-- to let mail flow inbound from the relay to the mail server? Is it just 1352 or are there others? Thanks.
Subject: Firewall ports from DMZ to mail servers
If you relay using NotesMail (Notes RPC protocol), then you need 1352. You need this port for all Notes RPC activities (replication, client access) as well.
If you relay using SMTP, you need 25; if you use SSMTP, you need 465, too.
