we’ve got a serious problem with sending file attachments with a macintosh (os 9.2.2). attachments sent to another mac are getting the .hqx extension (mac compression), but cannot be opened anymore though. attachments sent to a windows client usually cannot be opened either. i’m writing “usually”, because i’ve been able to open like 10% of them. some of the attachments (especially *.doc) are killed by groupshield “unable to extract file from note” as well.possible that groupshield (5.2.1) causes the problem?

the outbound settings in the server configuration AND the location document are set to AppleDouble. thought this should do the job, but it didn’t actually.

i just upgraded the mac client from 6.0 to 6.01 CF1 - without any result.any other ideas? any help appreciated!!
