Failed to open database in other server

Dear All,heeellllpp…

Using my notes client id I try to open the database in remote server. When I open server it shows message “Connected to server_x” after that “Verifying you authorization to user server” for few second and prompt me “Remote system no longer responding”, i already check the security setting in server document and i set all user can access this server.

Any idea why???

Try and create a connection document to the server. ie in the names.nsf on the notes client (advance > Connections). Add the server name on the first first tab making sure TCPIP is ticks and Local Area connections is also choosen. Then on advance add the IP address to “Destination Server Address”.

Or

FILE > Database > OPEN

Put in the IP address in the SERVER field and see if that works.

This will make sure that it is trying to connect to the right server. If this server still does not answer the user request and you dont get “authorisation failed” then you have a network issue.

Thank you for your response.

I already done what you are suggested, but unfortunately i still can not open the server.

could you please give me more specific about Network Issue or maybe you have reference for this issue.
