Failed to associate an IOCP port

I found message in log.nsf today, have anyone know about IOCP port ? What does it means ? And what will happen to the server regarding this error message ?

Dear all:

We are also having the same problem:

06/15/2007 08:29:19 Unable to create Server task: Failed to associate an IOCP port

06/15/2007 08:29:19 Unable to create Server task

The server hang about 5 to 10 minutes after this message happens!

Did anyone know how to solve this problem?? thanks for your help!!!

Domino server:6.0.3

Platform:Solaris 8

We have 4 servers with apx. 10K users on each server.The error message “Failed to associate an IOCP port” completly disappeared after tuning two parameters.

  1. TCP networking with ndd:

/usr/sbin/ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_conn_req_max_q 8000

  1. Ulimit in Domino startscript:

ulimit -n 16384
