Exporting text in a column - Red Box!

I’m trying to export docs. from one db and import it into another db. I created a view in the source db that incorporates all fields on the form. When I include the ‘comments’ field in the view it gives me red box – ‘handle out of range’…without the comments column it exports fine.I found a post on this forum that said to uncheck the ‘allow multiple values’ on the fields in the form, refresh the docs and try again, but that didn’t work.

Any suggestions on how I can get the comments field (which in some instances are about 20 lines long with lots of punctuation) exported?

I thought of doing this:

copy over form and view from source to target db. Include source db form(which is different from target db form) in view selection formula of target db. Would something like this work?

Any suggestions on how to go about transferring over the comments field to the target db are very much appreciated.

hopefully your issue is solved. I was wondering why you did not write some lotus script to read form the dB, then create the document in the new db and just copy all the fields over.
