Errors in RTF files if export tables with merge cells with Notes 6

Hello,

I have a problem (Notes 6.5.4) :

  • If I export a rich text with tables in a RTF File, I have problems : the tables are not exported correctly

  • If the document have some tables with tables who have merge cells, the RTF file is corrupt and I cannot open it !!!

This problem not exist with Notes 5 : it work correctly.

Someone have an idea or has encoutered this problem ?

In R5, the export to RTF happened with the old filters, whereas in ND6 and above, they seem to rely on a revised export filter which does a bit better with some rendering, but also seems to have a fair number of reliability issues. You may need to go back to the R5 export filter, which is still installed with N6 and above (look at an R5 NOTES.INI to see how the RTF export is defined).

I am going on some old, vague, memories, but I think this is correct for RTF exports.

Hello,

I have try to put the line :

EDITEXP2=MicrosoftWord RTF,2,_XRTF,.DOC,.RTF,4,

instead of

EDITEXP3=Microsoft RTF,2,_XRTF,.DOC,.RTF,4,

but it don’t work ! The tables are corrupt…
