Error updating local ID file

I am getting an error message “Error updating local ID file: Domino directory does not exist” when I type in the password.Can you guys help me to sort it out…?

I would say firstly check the lcoation document and make sure that the HOME and Directory server is correct. This might just be that the client is looking for the domino directory and not finding it.

If not we may require a bit more information. ie password where internet - notes client etc

It might be Certificate issues with the ID and Person document. Here is a few link explain why I brought it up.
