Hello everybody i have a domino test server 8.5 FP1 running on windows XP, i have installed this one to do several probes before migrate the server production. I want to probe IDVAULT but when i try to create the vault an errors appears as the following “The administration server , Server/ACME, is not responding. The domino administration server is needed to complete the process Please wait and retry later” I checked the adminp and it’s running on server , i restarted it but nothing happens the same error occurs. Any idea why it is happening ? thanks in advance
Subject: Is the administration server running at least 8.5?
The Domino Directory administration server must run Release 8.5 or later to use the ID vault.

What she meant is that the Admin Server (The administration server of the NAB) has to be version 8.5, not that you are running the adminp process.
Check if you can trace the server it’s saying there. Run ‘trace Server/ACME’ in the console of your server and post the results.

Subject: Another cause / solution for this ID Vault error
My poor Spanish translation skills were able to get me through the solution posted by Julian Fernandez: “un docuemento de conexion mal configurado con una ip en el campo Optional network address” >> a connection document was misconfigured with a bad IP address in the Optional Network Address field.
In my case, the wrong IP was not in a connection doc, but in the Server doc in the Ports (tab) >> Net Address field (the server had been moved to a new machine and the server doc had not been updated)
