Hello
We are installing Lotus Domino 7 on RedHat Linux AS 4 update 3 but on running the setup after specifying the configuration it gives an error “Please edit your shell’s DISPLAY environment variable to reflect an unlocked terminal that you would like to launch the Domino program on. Error status: 32512”
Can anyone help?

I believe Chapter 2.2.6 (Page 124) refers to your issue.

Error 32512 shows up during the installation, not the setup / configuration. The closest mention of any installation errors in the Redbook is on page 103: >>
"If you receive an error message, you will need to fix it,
then re-run the installation from the start. A typical
error message involves either incorrectly specifying the
user or group, or else failing to create the user or group
before beginning the installation. Another common error
message concerns lack of disk space. You can avoid
both of these errors by following the steps outlined in
2.1, “Before you begin: Pre-installation tasks” on page
I too am getting this error. I know I need to fix it before continuing, but I have no idea what error #32512 is actually referring to.
