Error "Password change process failed" when I change Internet Password

Via WebMail (8.5) I’m not able to change Internet Password.

Procedure:

Preferences → Security → button Change…

I put value on fields and when I click OK I got this message:

Password change process failed.

Password was NOT changed.

The user has all access (administrator of own db mail).

Our Security Policy (Field: Allow Users to Change Internet Password over HTTP) has set to YES

Any clue?

Thanks

Subject: What Are You Seeing in Adminp?

Are you even seeing an action like “Change HTTP password in Domino Directory” in the Administration Requests database? If not, check the ACL in the Administration Requests database to ensure that your user has Author rights with the ability to create documents (they shouldn’t need more than that in most cases).

Subject: nothing in AdminP

I have nothing for this request in AdminP

ACL has Author rights with the ability to create documents by Default

Thanks

Subject: Some Further Considerations

If you aren’t seeing anything in the Administration Requests database, then I am a bit stumped and would recommend some further data collection.

Does this password change functionality work for anyone? Or does it mis-behave this way for everyone?

Are there any log entries on the server that the user is hitting with the browser to indicate a security issue?

A step back to some basics. How many servers are involved in this process? Is the Administration Server of your Domino Directory the one where the user is attempting to change the HTTP password with a browser? If not, check to be sure that the Administrations Request database is a replica on both servers and that replication is occurring in both directions.
