Error occurs when creating full text index

I’ve tried to install Domino 6.5 (anad the Notes, Admin and Desginer clients).

I’ve tried to create a new database.

When I try to create a “Full Text” index from the administrator “files” section then I can see a message in the status line saying “1 database processed - 1 error. Check log for details”.

Are there any adminitrative issues right after a fresh install that must be completed before indexing works? Where can I find details about this error?

Don’t spend too much time analyzing ft index errors. Just down the server, delete the database’s .ft folder and all its contents using the OS, restart the server and then create a new ft index from scratch.
