Error message " Invalid or nonexistent document" when starting Notes client

Hi

When I start my Lotus Notes client I receive this message:

“Invalid or nonexistent document” .

If I click on the OK button thewhole process of opening the client is stopped and everything closes.

I have already deleted my cache, bookmark, desktop, etc. But that did not helped.

What can I do to solve this?

Is this a brand new installation or did you inherit the computer from another co-worker? If so, check your location document to make sure you are opening your mail file, etc. (assuming you can get past that issue). If not, rename your local names.nsf file.

if that does not work then try renaming bokmark.nsf so that a new one gets created. bokmark.nsf caches local design elements and I’ve seen this error thrown if one of the cached forms gets corrupt.
