Since Smart Upgrade seems to not work from 8.0.1 Basic Client to 8.0.2 Standard Client, I downloaded Installshield from passport advantage and created a transform file and MST. But when I got to a command line and try to run the following line from the directory where both the MST MSI reside,setup.exe /s /a /v"SELECTINSTALLFEATURES=SametimeUI TRANSFORMS=c:\UPGRADE\LotusNotes8_0_2.MST /qb+" I get this error: “Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.”
If I run the setup, it works fine, silent install, completes notifies me of successful installation, but even though I have SameTime Integration set to install to local hard drive via the InstallShield Tuner, it doesn’t install.
The SELECTINSTALLFEATURES=SametimeUI switch is supposed to set it to install sametime but I keep getting the Applying Transforms error. Any help would be great. I do have a PMR open with IBM on this, but seeing as I’m 2 weeks over my upgrade deadline, I need to get this working so I can push via SMS.
