I have a Domino website that requires authentication. The server is set to session based authentication. The website uses frames.
Logging on with FireFox the first time, authentication goes OK. But if the browser is shut down and then resatrted and the website is accessed, I get an Error 500 in the right frame (the left and top frame display and should not). If I clear the cache then things go back to normal. Any idea how to fix this?
Subject: Error 500 on Firefox second time website is accessed
No answer but a couple of things to think about.Any chance it’s FF 1.5? There’s a fair amount of press about the newest version having a number of interesting behaviors - hit a site, get a 404, hit it again, works fine, resource consumption, etc. If it is 1.5, try using an older version and see if you have the same issue. I’ve had relatively little problem with 1.5 but did have problems logging into Yahoo groups for a while (problem suddenly gone).
Have you checked in the FF forums? It may not be a Notes problem at all but something new/different in FF.
