Equivalent to @filesave in javascript needed without exiting form

I have a Domino Web applicaiton. Can I use @commands with web buttons? I would like to use @FileSave or something similar in javascript. I cant use submit() because it closes the form. The purpose of the button is to allow admins of the form to save changes without exiting the form.

You can use @command([filesave]);@command([fileclosewindow]) in a button or the js submit() and then use a $$Return field or a WebQuerySave agent to return the same document using the document unid.
