This week we’ve added some minor cosmetic changes and some enhancements around search:
Search
A link to search HCL Knowledge Base has been added alongside the search of documentation.
These messages have also been added to the full page search (which is also the search on mobile from the search icon in. the header bar). Note, there are minor differences in how the search manages updates:
The full page search does not display or update results until the search button is clicked. Consistent with this, the links to documentation and knowledge base will not update until the search button is linked.
In products and categories, the search is dynamic as you type. Similarly, the links are updated dynamically, as you type.
Mark solved
We had feedback that the action button to mark an answer as the solution was not obvious. As a result, we’ve added text in front to make this more obvious, as below.
Anonymous restrictions
As we get ready for rollout, we’re reviewing what’s possible for anonymous users. The user directory, user cards and user profiles will not be available to anonymous users.
The ratings functionality will also not be available.
When we go fully live, we intend to lock down so anonymous users can only view the site, not reply.
