How to force Lotus Notes password change through a Desktop security policy from a Specific date? I am using LN Domino 8.5. I did the policy which is working fine but the issue is how to change the Lotus Notes password not base on the “Last password change” in the personal document but at specific date onward for 1000 users? You are possibly opening a can of worms here.
In order to achieve this. run an agent on the Last Changed Password field and set it to a date you chose. The policy will force them to change the password when they next log in.
Beware, you should communicate this to the user community otherwise your phone will ring off the hook.
You might get some user’s locked out if you don’t have a long enough grace period, allowing for long holidays etc.
