Hello, let me this question about encrpted in iNostes.
We support DANE, advanced encryption. But if i not check "encrypted message", than is message in Inotes not encrypted? Communication with server and web browser is encrypted with TLS.
IN HCL Notes is communication encrypted always, with use person Certificate.
Can you confirm, pls?

The webserver and browser comn is encrypted using TLS. If configured. But this has nothing to do with encryption of mail message in iNotes.
Mail message will be encrypted if you check the box or you have configured your mail in a manner that it encrypts all mails being sent.
In case an encrypted message is to be sent, the body of the message will be encrypted with a common symmetric key which will itself be encrypted for each recipient with their public keys from the domino directory. Now whether this encrypted message , which can be decrypted by recipients is further sent over TLS depends upon the settings of domino servers in your domain and setting of SMTP port if being used

There are two different parts.
TLS encryption is used to secure connections with websites.
For email encryption, iNotes users must select the "Encrypt" option when sending an email. If this option is not selected, the email will not be encrypted. Similarly, in the HCL Notes client, the message will remain unencrypted if the "Encrypt" option is not chosen when sending an email.
In summary, selecting the "Encrypt" option in either the Notes client or iNotes is essential to ensure that emails are encrypted before sending.
