We do have the following problem:
if a user uses a mail rule to automatically forward its mail to another extern email address: the mail forward is done by the server. in the corresponding smtp-transfer the “Mail From” field in the smtp-protocoll is emtpy (Mail From: <>). Note that there is still a correct From item in the body of the mail.
Some mail servers are now blocking our forwarded mail because they assume that the mails are spam (because of the missing Mail From field).
Is there any way to set this field to the correct mailaddress given in the person document in the names.nsf. If not, is there a way to set a default MailFrom field for these cases. Though we cannot overwrite an existing MailFrom field any time, because of the need of (Non)DeliveryReports.
