I’ve created a test document with attachment enabled return receipt and sent from outlook to a user in a Lotus notes environment. In the different Lotus Notes environment after running an agent that removes the return receipt, then knocking my access down to reader access I drag the document to a folder, which makes the document an eml document
I then open the document in Lotus notes and it generates a return receipt. Every time I open the document it generates a return receipt. If the return receipt was still enabled this would make sense to me, but if I’ve removed the return receipt mark why is it generating a return receipt?
I read that in 2014 there was seemingly a issue that Lotus had and fixed shortly there after.
Is there a way to prevent return receipts from being generated after made into an eml document?
Both server and client are at 9.x
