Embedded View on server - can only see local databases

I am creating a test application comprised of 3 databases that has embedded views. So I deleted the old embedded views that point to the staging database and am trying to add the embedded views for the new test databases.

After clicking on Create / Embedded element / View, when I click on the database drow down to display database names, I am only getting a list of databases from my local hard drive, not from the server where the database is located. I triple checked it, and I am in the form of a database on a server.

Does anyone know what I might have done to cause this? When I created the original staging database, I was able to select databases from the server.

I have searched the forum and have not been able to find this problem.

If you open all the databases in the Domino Designer client before embedding the views you ought to see them in the drop down list.
