I have few instalations where I have client versions 6.5.5 7.0.3 and 8.0 and when I read emails from any client with higher version than 6.5.5, jpeg images do not show (red cross) and a message “error decoding jpeg image” is printed in status bar.
I tried almost everything, internet browser configs, accessing web though IE, Ln directly, trough proxy, …
I see in proxy logs that the image is correctly downloaded. I saw also image in perweb.nsf when connecting with Notes browser.
Jpeg images also do not show in local Lotus Notes applications, where jpeg are used.
So it has to be something with Lotus Notes or system libraries that goes wrong.
Does anyone have info about which lotus and system libraries are used for decoding jpeg images?
Please help!
