I know you can create a field that will store the document ID. You could then use that field to create a link to that document. What I am trying to do is to create a link to a email from another system.
I have a lookup view in another Notes datasbde that displays all of the current emails in the mailbox. I want the user to select the entry they want, and then select OK, and have the link load into the Notes database.
There does not appear to be a field that I can use to load the ID to link to. Does anyone have an idea how I could do this? I have included my look-up code below (column 8 was a field I was trying to use),
