Email Display Name

Still unable to setup my mail so that the recipient of mail gets my name (John Doe) on the FROM line instead of my email address. In previous versions you would be able to enter your email address on the Basic tab as: John Doe jdoe@xyz.com now when you do that it says there is an invalid phrase or character for the internet email address. One suggestion was to go into the Notes ID and put my name in the Owner space on the Basic tab of the Mail tab, but my name is already there. I have been going around and around about this ever since 8.5 was released.

FYI, I am not using a Domino server, but going directly to the internet using POP mail.

Hi,Can you try to edit your location, on the basics tab, the “Internet mail address” field input “display name” , I have try this with my 8.5.1 client, it could work.
