Hi,
I have recieved a message that is supposed to have an attachment with it but instead has the following rubbish …
{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\uc1 \deff0\deflang1033\deflangfe1033{\fonttbl{\f0\froman\fcharset0\fprq2{*\panose 02020603050405020304}Times New Roman;}{\f1\fswiss\fcharset0\fprq2{*\panose 020b0604020202020204}Arial;} etc etc etc
Other people on the recipient list have recieved it fine (in other companies).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Cheryl.
Subject: Email attachment missing, instead gobble de gook
We have run into this too, it is especially apparent with Outlook people sending to Notes, they need to change the MIME settings in their Outlook client for it to work right. I can’t locate the details of the settings change though, sorry
Subject: ms richtext
I think these people are sending MS Richtext to all internet addressees instead of HTML. It’s a setting in Outlook’s Options menu.
Another option: there may be something wrong with the MIME structure of that message. It has happened before, especially with messages sent from MS exchange 5.0 or 5.5 that contain attachments.
