@Element Tex List String List

Objective:Extract Text List created by NotesItem.appendToTextList in a View.

Current Problme:

@Element(TextList) doesn’t not product anything.

i think the reason is that @Element requires (“String”:“List”) but Text List isn’t the string list.

So, How can I make the Text List into String List in the view.

I know I can script different but NotesItem is so useful.

I am confused…are you coding this in @Formula language or script? NotesItem is usually only used in script…whereas @Elements is usually only used in @Formula language.

Make sure the IsSummary property of your NotesItem is set to “True”. If it is “False”, you cannot use the field in a view.

the Text List was created by using NotesItem.appendtotextlist… However, when i switched to doc.replaceItem(), the items are listed and @Element works…

I haven’t tried the summary thing but I will in the future… thanks for that tip.
