EasySync pro and Mobile 5

Hi,

we are awaiting an uprgrade of EasySync 4.2.3. This version with a patch is not supporting PDAs using Mobile 5 OS.

Anyone who knows about an upgrade and a date for this?

I have recently obtained the Beta for 4.2.4 from our local IBM Support Centre.

It’s still very much Beta software but it works, and is syncronising against my Mobile 5.0 phone.

I’ve been getting a few direct e-mail enquiries about how I managed to obtain the Beta.

This is it. All advice I can give on this topic is contained below!

I obtained the Beta release from IBM Support, as instructed by this technote.

I looked up my country in the IBM Planetwide Directory and went from there.

I did need to speak with IBM and provide them with my companies account number.

IBM support provided an FTP download for me.

I’ve been calling IBM and have been redirected to a billion places and still can not find this beta release. I’ve been told that its been taken off and then I’ve been told that it hasn’t been made available. Can anyone give me a definite response as to how to obtain this beta?

I saw that there is a EasySynch 4.2.4 that supports WindowsMobile 5.0, but I cannot find out when it is being released. have you heard?
