After installing the Palm Desktop, you should have more then two application entries in your registry. Did you try deinstalling and reinstalling your Palm Desktop? Does the HotSync work with the Palm Desktop before installing EasySync?
I don’t know if it makes a diiference, but I installed my palm software into C:\palm instead of C:\Program Files\PalmOne.

HotSync gave me three options, sync Palm Desktop, sync Outlook, or other provider. I choose other provider. I don’t use the Palm app on the PC, only ever used it to sync with Outlook. Was planning on the same with the new PC.

Just re-installed HotSync for Palm Desktop, no luck. Re-installed with the Outluck conduit, works like a charm. EasySync still does not work. Probably switch to a BlackBery.

Yes, see my response to Bruce’s message in the same thread, the install from ISSI does not work. Choose deferred install instead and double the file “IBM Lotus EasySync Pro.msi”, point to your notes.ini file if needed, and it should work.

The MSI install worked. Basically pulled down the installer, de-installed EasySync and re-installed from the msi. First run, ran sync from EasySync, had to press hot sync on the cradle. Now can press hot sync on cradle and it automatically launches EasySync.

I tried this and kept getting an error that the config file could not be loaded. So after uninstalling EasySync, I navigated to this folder on my system:C:\Documents and Settings<yourname>\Application Data\XCPCSync.OEM\Lotus.211.101 and renamed the Data folder and the file crfsinfo.dat. They were left over from previous installs and were saving stale data.
I reinstalled ESP using the .MSI file after that and everything worked!! Thanks to all who posted this.
