I installed Easysync 4.2, with Palm Deskstop 4.1 and Notes 6.0.1. This was a new install of Easysync.
No problems were reported during the installation or in the installation log.
When trying to do anthing with Notes including syching, configurating, modifying data sources, I get an error "The specified procedure could not be
found."
I turned on logging and found the following in the rssync log:
XTNDConnect PC : ***** EasySync Pro * Commandline :/S /AN 3CmPlm /PN LtNts4
CRSyncUtil::GetTranslator : LoadLibrary() API failed for module ‘C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\XCPCSync\TRANSL~1\LtNts4\rstLN.dll’
CRSyncUtil::GetTranslator : System error message - The specified procedure could not be found
Any suggestions?

Hi,I had the same error but it was no fresh Installation from Easysync instead an Upgrade from Version 4.0. After several tries I deinstalled the Software and deleted all traces of Easysync from the registry. After this procedure the next new Installation worked, don`t know why. The Software seems a little buggy…

You may want to specify EasySync PRO when you call. EasySync 3.x is no longer a supported product.

Try going into the settings. Make sure you setup the Notes portion through easysync (ie. specify the location of the notes.ini file, and the password) Have Easysync save the notes password as well.
If you’ve already done this and are still getting the above msg then try checking the palm web site.

I was able to this problem. It turned out I had three different versions of the js32.dll file on my system. c:\notes\js32.dll, dated 4/2/2003
c:\winnt\system32\js32.dll, dated 12/07/2000
c:\program files\lotus inotes\js32.dll, dated 09/05/2002
I replaced the copy in c:\winnt\system32 and c:\program files\lotus inotes with the copy in from 4/2/2003 and easysync worked just fine.

We upgraded windows 2000 to the latest service release - and it solved the problem…

Hi,
I’m running Domino 6.0.2 CF1, Windows XP, Lotus Notes 6.0.2 CF2 and EasySync Pro 4.2 and eveything syncronizes excep my e-mail.
I get the following error message:
"Requested database, record, resource, etc. not found.
Run all the applications (AddressBook, DateBook, ToDo, and e-mail) at least once in the device and try again."
Then I get the “Syncronization aborted due to errors” message.
Any idea of what might be going on?
Thanks,
KG

Kevin:
Did you ever get an answer or fix for this? I’m having the same problem using Lotus Notes 6.5.1, EasySync 4.2.2 and a Sprint Treo 600 running Palm 5.2.1
Any help would be appreciated.

Bill:
EasySync 4.2x is supposed to support ND 6.5, but perhaps it doesn’t support the Palm 5.2 OS on the Treo.
I’m using Cadenza mNotes (http://www.commontime.com) with my Treo and it works like a charm (and Notes 6.5.1 on the server).
At some point the cost to buy a product that is known to work gets a lot cheaper than the struggle …

I have almost the same setup, only differemce in I’m using 6.5.2. I have tried just about everything. I have a PMR opened with IBM, but they said that they are swamped with calls on EasySync Pro! They could not give me an ETA.

We have problems with Easysync as well…still investigating since we are just now rolling out R6. Easysync definetly does not like it when your data directory is in a different location than the notes exe’s. (for example, when you put the data in the documents and settings directory, for different user logins).
The best part is that Lotus does not support Easysync. Called their support line and they actually said they don’t provide support for their own product, but to check the website for any documentation. weak.
