EasySync 4.2.4 from ISSI not working!

Hope this catches those that have had problems with getting EasySync Pro 4.2.4 working with Palm 5.X.

The issue is that the install is NOT working correctly from ISSI directly. What works is to select “Deferred Install”. This will download files into your “sdwork” folder under your root directory. Then, click on the “Lotus EasySync XXX.msi” install file in this sdwork directory. It will now install correctly.

This fix worked for me and for someone else who had the same problem.

Yes, good point… this only applies to IBM employees who have downloaded EasySync 4.2.4 from ISSI. Please ignore the post otherwise.

Alan, I did get a message from another IBMer who had come to this forum not finding the answer elsewhere, and I was happy I was able to help him.
