Easy Sync Pro 4.2.1 / Hot Sync problem

I’ve just installed Easy Sync Pro 4.2.1 on to a machine which previously used Palm HotSync and Palm Desktop.

Sync’ing with Notes works fine. But, after the Easy Sync Pro has finished the Palm Hot Sync continues to sync for about ~10 mins, although It is not updating the palm desktop.

I’ve played around with all the sync settings in both Easy Sync and Hot sync to no avail. Exiting the Palm Hot sync program (as recommended in the Easy Sync Help) does not help since Easy Sync Pro just restarts it.

Does any one know how to speed up the Sync.

Tips-

What does the Hot Sync log show as going on during that time? (Right click on the system tray icon and select view log.

Try Increasing the EasySync log levels and reviewing it’s rsSync.log file contents to see if it has any clues.

It could be that you’ve got conduit corruption issues. Try checking out technote 1152886 for instructions on how to backup and then start over clean.
