I read about people asking about dynamic view, I wonder if there is any good workable example for dynamic view, coding for the following scenario:
I create an action in view, once click, it will pops out a selection box, where one can tick the relevant check box, in this example, documents as at today or yesterday. Upon selection, I click okay, so my documents will be as per such selection.
Or it is actually better just to create 2 views, in terms of performance?

If you want to view documents for a specific day, try using an embedded view on a form, set it to show a single category, and use a field on the form to choose the category…
