Dynamic Client Config

I have R7.02 Clients and R8.02 Servers. Some clients are getting the mail file location changed from “on local” to “on server” each time they log in and Dynamic Client Config refreshes the settings. There are NO policy settings in place to force changes in clients local documents. What could be the problem?

I don’t know if this TechNote will help, but it may be a start:

Thank you all very much and Greg I like your blog. If I disable DCC in the ini file should it not initialize upon login and therefore not change location docs? I tried DisableDynConfigClient=1 but it did not work.

DCC kicks off when you first authenticate to your home mail server. So, I would look at the hidden View, ($Profiles), in the Personal Name and Address Book. If that Profile is in there, you might want to delete it and restart Notes. Keep your INI setting.

HTH.
