I am trying to export Image Resources from a Notes Database over a IIOP Corba connection using an application running on WebSphere. This is the code:
Session n_session;
DbDirectory notesDbDir;
Database dbCD;
NoteCollection nc;
DxlExporter exporter;
try {
n_session = NotesFactory.createSession(url,
"userid", "password");
notesDbDir = n_session.getDbDirectory("");
dbCD = notesDbDir.openDatabaseByReplicaID(repid);
nc = dbCD.createNoteCollection(false);
nc.setSelectImageResources(true);
nc.buildCollection();
System.out.println("Count: " + nc.getCount());
exporter = n_session.createDxlExporter();
exporter.setForceNoteFormat(true);
System.out.println(exporter.exportDxl(nc));
} catch (NotesException e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
} catch (Exception e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
}
When this runs I get the following on the Console/log:
Count: 749
<?xml version='1.0'?><database xmlns=‘http://www.lotus.com/dxl’ version=‘7.0’ replicaid=‘CA256C5A002037A0’

For some reason the exporter does not export any of the image resources even though the NoteCollection contains all the images in the database. Should it be possible to export image resources over IIOP/Corba?
Many thanks,
