We’re looking at Whale’s e-Gap product to assist both for the proxy protection, but also for compliance as they want local caches and temp files to be purged, and speed things up (running R5 template on a ND6.5.5 server on AIX 5.2). (Also reviewed the DWA Performance White Paper.)
Are there other options other than e-Gap that people have used? I’ve read the five or so references to Whale here; anyone who considered Whale previously actually using it or have an opinion now?
