We have serveral Domino DWA servers and a Reverse Proxy server.
The url is: webmail.domain.com and redirects to my maildatabase after login to https://webmail.domain.com/mail/rangioni.nsf
When i try to open another maildatabase, the URL changes into the serverhostname : https://servera.domain.com/mail/otheruser.nsf
This is not the correct url, because the servers are not directly accessable !!!
When i change the url into https://webmail.domain.com/mail/otheruser.nsf, the correct database is shown.
Is this a wrong setting or a bug ?
Subject: Just a thought…
I’m guessing that while you’re on server A in user 1’s mail file and then you choose to open another user’s (user 2) mail file, this is problably what’s going on:
Server A looks up user 2 in it’s NAB. User 2’s person doc points to your other server B under mail\user2.nsf. The fully qualified host name of server B is found from server A’s NAB as well and the browser attempts to resolve the url to user 2’s mail file. I think you’ll need these servers to be connected and SSO should be set up between them. Just a thought, not positive.
Subject: SSO
the servers are connected, and have SSO. But you cannot connect directly to them. We have a frontend IHS+WAS. We have blocked the users from accessing the Dominoservers by IPAddress in the configuration.
The problem is, that the url changes into the FQIN, instead of taking over the origional.
