Please, please give us some deeper documentation.For instance on the javascript functions, just the basics really, the redbook is so small, we need much more info. How to grab field values using the same function the gui uses, etc.

Please be aware that this is a public forum and not a direct path to IBM support… I thank you for thinking that we here write the redbooks but only look and respond here because we like to (or forced to by a habit that has formed over many years).

Yes, thanks Nathan. I did not really phrase that in the form of a question for the forum, will do. Lotus support is not really the place either.I will come up with more direct questions for those of us learning the shimmer framework the hard way. I know many of us have had some success.

I am trying to get DWA to do things it does not want to do, and the lack of documentation on what it does like to do is frustrating.
