I have encountered some problems in accessing mail databases
via DWA. The Domino is 6.5.3FP1 with hotfix 411.060 together with Traditional and Simplified Chinese language pack.
The scenario is that it returns blank page when users accessing their mail database via web for some documents but not all documents.
It returns errors like “HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes exception - You are not authorized to access that database” if users gain access via “text mode” DWA (R5 style).
It is no problem for users to access on Notes client, there is no problem on ACL, mail owner setting. It still exists if I forward problematic documents to other user account in DWA.
In my environment, there are other domino servers with the same version, that is Domino 6.5.3FP1+hotfix 411.060+ TC, SC language pack, I created replicas on that server, open problematic document, it works without any errors.
I tried to replace files in problematic domino servers for iNotes and domino\html folders under data directory with workable files from other servers. The result still the same and unable to open.
Would anyone have any ideas about this scenario and how to solve it ?
Finally, I reinstall the domino server with FP1, hotfix, language pack, and then restore the data from backup, although there isn’t any good news to me. One interesting thing is that if I restore only one mail file not all the mail files, user can access the database without problem, but restore all, it seems failed.
As I tried to create replica on other servers with exactly the
same Domino version with TC,SC language pack, FP1 and hotfix, it works.
Also, I tried to install OS and restore the full set of Domino server, the problem still exist, would anyone knows what happen to this case and anyone have any ideas about that ? This problem annoy me for a long time but still unsolved.
