A couple of emails (usually some of the latest) appear twice in my inbox. If I move or delete one of the emails, both entries disappear from the inbox.I can select/hightlight either or both of the entries.
I tried replacing mail design, and am now using the 8.5.1 cd8 release (client and mail design), but the error persists.

I have experienced a similar issue where the second to last email in my inbox appears duplicated. As soon as I remove that email the one “above” it then becomes duplicate. Not a critical issue. Just rather annoying. I have replaced the design to a 7 template, and then back again to the 8.5 template and still have the problem.
I’m part way through a 6.5 to 8.5.1 upgrade and have this problem affecting three users so far.Current work around is for them to use the basic client (which they all hate). So far I have:
clean reinstalled the client
re-applied the design
purged and rebuilt the inbox view indexes
copied mail out of inbox, deleted inbox folder, purged view index for inbox, re-applied 851 template (creating new inbox), copied mail back in (creating new view index).
None of this has worked. Also, I can’t replicate this on other machines, or see it myself, just on the users PCs/clients.
I’m having them test 8.5.1 over citrix to see if they see the same problem in the hopes I can narrow the search a little. Next steps will be maintenance followed by new replica creation, unless anyone out there has any other ideas???
Same thing. I was wondering if the delete Inbox and refresh design worksed for anyone else? Also, how do you delete a user’s Inbox? Thanks in advance. I have two users out of 218 that are having this problem but it may grow as we continue to upgrade.
