Today a user showed me two emails she recieved from different people in diferent companies. They both were dated from about two weeks ago and she had already even replied to them. Then “Walla”
the exact same email shows up in her Inbox again today.
One other lady here, had an email show up a few days ago that was dated from 3 weeks earlier.
So far these things are rare. Do you think it is Internet “Glitchery” or should we be checking some things on our Domino server perhaps? Any ideas??
Sounds like they are having replication problems. Make sure replication is set to send and receive for both of them, and that they are not over their mail quota.
It sounds like the deletion stubs are being purged before they have a chance to replicate their deletions to the mail server. So, since the server is not aware that they are deleted, and can see they are not in the local copy, it will replicate the message back down again.
Thsi is jsut an assumption, if you are using replication. I have seen this happen many times.
