When trying to edit the design of an application that we’ve used for years, I have started getting an error message when trying to open one of the existing forms - “Due to an error, this paragraph cannot be displayed.” I also get “error occurred while formatting.” What then happens is the form opens but it is missing the main content and only displays a small subform. This starts to happen whenever I try to make an edit involving a field. If I add a new one, it happens. If I delete a field, same result. If I simply insert a line in a table it does not happen. I have come across one technote suggesting that an embedded graphic may be the problem. I removed the graphics and it still occurs. Once I end up with this problem happening, the only thing I can do is delete the form and copy an existing one from another copy of the application. This problem occurs in a template without any records or data in it. If I refresh the design to my working database the problem carries over to that, so I can actually see that this will occur by editing the form, saving and trying to reopen it in the designer client. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Subject: Any suggestions or update for this issue?
I’ve seen that this post is an old post, but Today I get the same error while reviewing an old form in a notes database application. What I’m doing is to looking for pictures with different scaling.Actually I’m getting various messages in my status bar, on saving a document with this form. And I found this http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21251507
