Drag&Drop from Sharepoint 2001 to Notes Client

Hi,

We have following listed problems with Lotus Notes client and Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server 2001.

Users wish to place a link or an attachment from a SharePoint resource in a Notes Mail.

They are confronted with the following problems:

  1. Drag&Drop from a Web Folder: this sometimes inserts the file as an attachment, and

sometimes it just inserts the URL.

  1. Notes does not correctly convert the URL to a Hotspot if there are spaces (or other

characters that should be URL-encoded) in the path or file name.

  1. A Hotspot only provides a read-only Link to the SharePoint document.
